End of Internet Explorer Support

As of May 1st 2021, Cognibox doesn’t support Internet Explorer anymore. While some part of the application may still seem to work, using Internet Explorer may result in unforeseen errors.

In order to access Cognibox web applications, you need to use the latest version of the following modern browsers:

  • Google Chrome (Desktop & Mobile)
  • Safari (Desktop & Mobile)
  • Microsoft Edge (Desktop only)
  • Firefox (Desktop only)

 

About Microsoft

Internet Explorer (IE) has been around for 15 years but its weaning popularity and non-standard behaviours, caused a significant burden on web app developers to support this browser.

With Microsoft making Edge the Windows default browser and deprecating support for IE 11 in Microsoft Teams in November 2020 and the whole Office 365 suite as of August 2021, all web app developers are following suit and deprecating support for IE. IE will be officially end of life in June 2022.
