ELKEM Chicoutimi Joins the Ranks of the Cognibox’ Contract Suppliers Community

We are proud to announce the arrival of ELKEM Chicoutimi among the contract suppliers’ community who chose the Cognibox contractors management tool. Elkem is one of the world’s leading companies for environment-friendly production of materials. Its main products are solar grade silicon, silicon, special alloys for the foundry industry, carbon and microsilica. This agreement with ELKEM will allow us to expand in the Saguenay region and to increase the number of qualifed contractors.

In the next months, Contractors working for ELKEM Chicoutimi will have to be qualified in Cognibox, a multi-facet system which allows not only for pre-selection/qualification of Contractors but also to comply with the health and safety training courses required to ensure ongoing management of the specific risks related to the work performed. Qualification accounts include, among others, administrative and environment aspects, quality, health and safety and sustainable development.
