Cognibox Enters Into a Partnership with Kruger for the Management of their Contractors and thus Continues its Growth Within the Pulp and Paper Industry

We are proud to announce that we concluded an agreement with Kruger, who will rely on the Cognibox solution to manage their contractors all across their seven Quebec plants. This agreement, of an initial period of three years, will allow the Brompton and Trois-Rivières newspaper plants, the Kruger Wayagamack coated paper plant, as well as the Lennoxville, Crabtree and Gatineau (Richelieu and Laurier sites)  tissue paper plants to ensure a good management, compliance and qualification of their contractors.

This partnership shows Kruger’s commitment towards their employee’s health and safety, as well as their will to protect the environment and security of all workers accessing their installations. Kruger is a Quebec-based company managing about twenty plants and over thirty green energy power plants across North America. In addition to pulp and paper, the company diversified their operations to softwood lumber, energy, recycling, cardboard and packaging, biomaterials and wine and spirits.

Within the next few months, contractors who wish to obtain contracts at one of the 7 Kruger’s sites will be required to qualify through Cognibox and show their level of compliance in regards of health and safety, environment, sustainable development, as well as on legal and regulatory aspects.
