Starting July 1, 2010, our development team will no longer assure the compatibility
of Cognibox with Microsoft Internet Explorer. All Cognibox members who use this
version of the Microsoft browser are invited to update to a more recent version of the
software.
An Obsolete Version
One needs to know that Internet browser Explorer Version 6 goes back to 2001, in
other words, prehistory in terms of the internet. Back then, online applications, such
as Cognibox, were practically non-existent and this browser was not designed for
today’s technological reality. To offer you online services like Cognibox 3, we must
build on more recent platforms able to run the latest technological breakthroughs in
accordance to standards and good practices.
Alternate Versions
Since Cognibox has been available online, many alternate versions of the system
have had to be developed to assure compatibility with the most popular internet
browsers on the market. We will continue assuming this effort for the majority of
browsers. However, like just about any Web development community, we will
concentrate our efforts on the more pertinent technological versions.
